Delete Your Byulnuri Account
This page explains how to delete your Byulnuri account, and what data is removed or retained as a result.
You sign in to Byulnuri with a Byulgurm account. Deleting your Byulgurm account does not delete your Byulnuri account or its data, so delete your Byulnuri account first, while you can still sign in.
Delete your account on the website
- Sign in and open Settings on byulnuri.com
- Choose Delete account at the bottom of the page and follow the steps
If you signed in but never chose a username, you’ll see the sign-up page instead of Settings. Choose Delete account at the bottom of that page.
Your account is deleted right away. You can’t undo this yourself, and you can’t create a new account with the same login afterwards.
If you own a galaxy, delete it in the Byulnuri app first.
If you can’t delete your account yourself
If you can no longer sign in, or your account is suspended, email support@byulnuri.com from your account’s email address with the subject “Account Deletion Request”. We will confirm that the account is yours and process your request within 14 days.
Delete your Byulgurm account
Deleting your Byulnuri account doesn’t delete your Byulgurm account. If you want to delete it too, do so at auth.byulgurm.com/auth/v1/account after deleting your Byulnuri account.
What data is deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is removed from our servers:
- Profile: your email address, username, display name, bio, and profile picture
- Community membership: your galaxy memberships, read state, mention records, notification settings, and galaxy invites you created
- Social connections: your follows, followers, starlinks, and notification inbox
- Push notification tokens: push registrations tied to your account
- Servers: your cloud servers are deleted along with their worlds and backups, and any LAN server you are hosting is closed
- Access to other people’s servers: invitations and any other access you were given
- Staff role assignments on your account
What data is retained
The following data is kept after deletion. Unless noted otherwise, data kept on our servers stays linked to your account ID, but it is no longer shown with your username or profile:
- Account record: your account ID, its link to your login, when the account was created, any suspension, and a history of deletions and restorations, including any reason staff gave. This stops the same login from creating a new account and lets staff restore sign-in. A restore does not bring back your profile, connections, or deleted servers.
- Chat messages and direct messages you posted: these are not deleted and stay where you posted them, but other people can no longer tell who sent them. If you want specific messages removed, delete them before deleting your account, or ask us.
- Activity records: for example, your past usernames and notifications others received about your activity
- Stardust: your balance, transaction history, and ad reward records, kept as a financial audit trail. The balance can no longer be used.
- Block records you created as a host: device, IP address, or Minecraft identity blocks
- Server records and play history: records of the servers you hosted, and of play on servers you hosted or joined. Play records are deleted over time.
- Punishment records (warnings and account-level actions, IP bans, and Minecraft-identity bans): retained as lasting moderation history. Neither voiding a punishment nor deleting your account deletes them, and identifier-based bans may remain enforceable. Associated evidence is kept with the record.
- Connection-tracking records: account deletion does not delete these. Raw IP addresses normally expire after about 90 days unless kept for active moderation; non-IP identity signals may be kept longer to investigate abuse and prevent ban evasion.
- Moderation history where you acted as staff: for example, punishments you issued
- Analytics and crash records: may remain after account identifiers are removed where applicable. These may still contain pseudonymous device or browser details or incidental application state, and are not considered anonymous unless irreversibly de-identified.
- Locally stored data: the random device identifier and appearance preferences on your installed app or browser remain until you uninstall the app, clear app data, or clear browser storage.
Our analytics does not store raw IP addresses; this does not by itself apply to crash reports. For full details on our data handling, including safety and connection-tracking data and its retention, see the Privacy Policy.
